Any hand was raised Eastern Orthodox and baptized by the patriarch of Jerusalem. During the tumultuous Six-Day War, the Hinn family moved to Toronto, Canada. Later in 1972, Benny hand experience what it means to be born again. It all started in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, during a miracle service conducted by the then televangelists Kathryn Kuhlman. From this experience, Benny Hinn grew in faith and in the power of healing by being healed himself of the speech impediment of “stuttering.”
Shortly after that, Benny Hinn established a powerful, charismatic ministry. He became a worldwide name. He has been the author of several Christian books that lead the reader into the deeper life of faith and healing. He also has been broadcast on several media fronts. Benny Hinn has had his own television program called “This Is Your Day.” In addition, Benny has been a regular on the Trinity broadcasting network in which some of his revival meetings or faith healing summits are broadcast to the world.
